Ten years ago today, on September 15, 2015, our journey as Baltimore and Maryland’s premier Ghostbusters cosplay group began with our very first event: a public screening of the original Ghostbusters movie at the Bromo Tower. Today, as we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we are filled with immense gratitude.
To our incredible members, both past and present—thank you. Your passion, dedication, and spirit are the heart and soul of this group. To the thousands of fans who have visited us at hundreds of events over the years—thank you for your support and for making every event an unforgettable experience. And to all the other amazing Ghostbusters franchises around the globe—thank you for your friendship and support. We couldn’t have done it without you.
It’s been an incredible decade of growth. We’ve seen the franchise grow with three new movies in 2016, 2021, and 2024. We’ve poured our time and energy into building our iconic vehicles, Ecto MD and Ecto Hon, and we’ve officially become a 501(c)(3) in 2025, which will help us with our future fundraising efforts. We’re also thrilled to be launching “The Experience,” a new way for fans to connect with us.
We are so excited for what the future holds and can’t wait to continue busting with all of you. Here’s to the next ten years!
