About the Charm City Ghostbusters
Started in 2015, the Charm City Ghostbusters is a group of cosplayers with a strong affinity for the 1984 paranormal comedy starring Bill Murray, Dan Akyroyd, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, Rick Moranis, and Annie Potts. The group uses the movie to connect with people around the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area through movie screenings, pop culture conventions, community events, private events, and more.
Our members utilize their time, creativity, and talents to create and maintain a wide array of prop replicas, uniforms, and vehicles themed around the Ghostbusters franchise including the aforementioned film as well as its sequels, reboots, comic books, video games, books, pinball machines, slot machines, and any other paranormal adventures along the way.
About Our Logo – The Boh Ghost
The logo of the Charm City Ghostbusters uses elements of the standard Ghostbusters logo (aka the No Ghost or Mooglie, as he’s affectionately known) with the head the logo of National Bohemian (or Natty Boh, hence the logo’s name) the staple beer of Baltimore, and it’s all wrapped in the flag of the great state of Maryland. It was created by Grant Rizzi, one of our founding members.

Events
Do you investigate real hauntings, and can you remove ghosts from my house?
No, we are a costuming group. We cannot actually address paranormal concerns you are experiencing.
Are you available for birthday parties?
We do try to appear at birthday parties when requested. Number of Ghostbusters and vehicles are subject to availability.
How can I request an appearance?
Please use our Event Request Form.
How far away will you appear?
We have made appearances all across the state of Maryland. Contact us and we will see if we can accommodate your event.
Membership
What are the requirements to join Charm City Ghostbusters?
– Must be 18 years of age or older
– Must have a full uniform
– Must agree to our Charter and Code of Conduct
What is a full uniform?
– Flight suit
Suits from costume companies (Spirit, Fun.com) are not acceptable
Gibson & Barnes, Propper, or Tru-Spec are great options for off-the-shelf flight suits.
There are several companies that make replica flight suits which are also acceptable, but we do not endorse any specific vendor.
– Web/pistol belt
– Elbow pads
– Name tag patch
– No Ghost patch on right arm
– Black boots
– At least one small prop (PKE Meter, Ghost Trap, Goggles, etc.)
Do I need a proton pack?
No, but they are strongly encouraged.
Will you build me a proton pack?
Unfortunately at this time, we are not building Proton Packs for sale.

When do I get a Boh Ghost patch?
New recruits are subject to a provisional period. When this has been completed, Boh Ghost patches are available to members.
We do sell smaller versions of our patches at events for non-members.
